27th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year A

Hmmm… Napakaganda ng mga babasahin natin sa darating linggo. From first reading to gospel talagang maraming tatamaan nito ngayong linggo. Pero ang tanong, sa paghomily ba ng pari makikinig kaya at isapuso ng mga tao ang homily nito? Karamihan kasi sa atin kapag nagsimba ay ipapalabas na lang sa kabilang tainga ang homily ng pari na galing mismo sa banal na kasulatan ng simbahan. Sana naman po mga kapatid gawin nating seryoso ang pagsamba at pananampalataya natin sa ating Poong Maykapal. Lalo na sa mga kabataan natin ngayon na ginagawa ng DATING PLACE ang simbahan. Nagsisimba lang dahil sa kasama o ka-date nito ang nililigawan at hindi sila kusang pumunta doon sa simbahan para magdasal, humingi ng tawad o magpasalamat sa mga biyayang natanggap. Ikaw bay ganun din? Sana naman kapatid baguhin na natin itong maling impression ng ibang sekta sa atin hindi dahil sa kailangan nating gawin kundi dahil sa gusto natin ito at ito ang nararapat.
For the readings, it talks about the coming of Christ to us. Pero anong ginawa natin sa kanya? Ipinagtabuyan at pinatay. Tukma ito dahil sa malapit na ang panahon ng Adbyento. Mga kapatid sana’y pagnilayan natin ang mga babasahin sa linggong ito at dahan-dahan nating gawin o i-apply sa ating mga buhay. Kailan pa ba tayo magbabago? Kapag huli na ang lahat? Kapag nagunaw na ang mundo at babalik na ang anak ng Dios?
Hahay… Ito na po ang aking mga suhestiyong kanta para sa darating na linggo…

When harvest time came, the landowner sent his servants to the tenants to collect his share of the harvest. But the tenants killed the servants. The owner sent his son.
