READINGS:

First Reading:
Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14-16 says something about Moses reminds people of God’s love for the Israelites, while, when they were in the desert for 40 years, God provided them food (in the form of manna), and drink (in the form of water from the rock).

Responsorial Psalm:
Psalm 147:12-13, 14-15, 19-20 Praise the Lord, Jerusalem

Second Reading:
1 Corinthians 10:16-17 Paul wrote, “The bread is one, and so we, though many, form one body, sharing the one bread.”

Gospel:
John 6:51-58 is about the imagery of Jesus being the living bread which has come from heaven. The consequential lines are:

1. I am the living bread which has come from heaven. 
2. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever.
3. The bread I shall give is My flesh, and I will give it for the life of the world. 
4. I will raise him up on the last day.
5. My flesh is really food and My blood is drink.

Readings:
First Reading:  Exodus 34:4-9 is about Moses talk with GOD in the Mount of Sinai. God said to Him "I am the Lord Please come and walk in our midst. Even though we are a stiff-necked people, pardon our weakness and our sin. Make us Yours." 


Responsorial Psalm: Daniel 3:52-56

Actually, there are not a few occasions when the Responses are taken from the Books of Revelation, 1 Corinthians, even the Gospels to name a few in the NT. In the OT, on certain occasions, RP is taken from Exodus, Deuteronomy, 1 Samuel, 1 Chronicles, Tobit, Judith, Sirach, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Jonah, and as noted above, Daniel. 




Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 13:11-13, Paul wrote, “The grace of Christ Jesus the Lord, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 


Gospel: John 3:16-18 is about Jesus’ words to Nicodemus. Si Nicodemus yung Pariseo na kampi kay Jesus. The consequential lines are: 
1. The famous “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.” 
2. Whoever believes in Him may not be lost, but may have eternal life.
3. Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned
