READINGS:

First Reading:
Zec 9:9-10’s consequential lines are:
a. Rejoice heartily, O daughter Zion. Shout for joy, O daughter Jerusalem.
b. A just Savior He is—meek and humble and riding on an ass.

Responsorial Psalm:
Psalm 145 - I will praise Your Name forever, my King and my God. 

Second Reading:
Paul writes in Romans 8:9, 11-13 that we are not in the flesh; on the contrary we are in the Spirit. 

Gospel:
Mt 11:25-30 is about the Praise of the Father. Its consequential lines are:
a. I give praise to You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for though You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, You have revealed them to the childlike.
b. All things have been handed over to the Son by the Father.
c. (The famous) "Come to Me all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest."

READINGS:

First Reading:
Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14-16 says something about Moses reminds people of God’s love for the Israelites, while, when they were in the desert for 40 years, God provided them food (in the form of manna), and drink (in the form of water from the rock).

Responsorial Psalm:

Second Reading:
1 Corinthians 10:16-17 Paul wrote, “The bread is one, and so we, though many, form one body, sharing the one bread.”

Gospel:
John 6:51-58 is about the imagery of Jesus being the living bread which has come from heaven. The consequential lines are:

2. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever.
3. The bread I shall give is My flesh, and I will give it for the life of the world. 
4. I will raise him up on the last day.
