Readings: 
1R: The First Reading for this Mass would not come from the Old Testament, but from the Book of Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament—specifically Acts 14:22-23. This is about Peter’s speech to the believers in the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. 

RP: 16 Lord, You will show us the path to life. 

2R: You were redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. 

G: Luke 24:13-35 tells about Jesus and the two disciples on the Road to Emmaus. After the Resurrection, two disciples were on the road to Emmaus, and Jesus appeared to them, but they did not recognize Him. Jesus talks with them, and after a supper that was very much like the last supper, the two disciples realize that it was Jesus to whom they were talking to, but Jesus disappeared. The two disciples go back to Jerusalem and tell the other apostles about their experience of seeing and actually talking to the Risen Lord.

Nindot kaayo kantahan diri ang CEBUANO VERSION SA PAPURI SA DIOS SA BUKAS PALAD. Same ra ug tono sya pero translated na.

Aklamasyon sa Ebanghelyo: 
Diri nindot nga pagaawiton pagbalik ang “PANGITAA ANG GINGHARIAN”. The expresses so much joy and happiness. And dapat pod ang mga choir mokanta man gani mo ug Alleluya, sadya pod dapat ang inyong panagway. Ug di man gani ayaw nalang mo ug kanta. Alleluya expresses much joy and happiness to the LORD.

Halad: 
Actually “MUGNA SA DIOS” of HIMAYA KANIMO album of Jesuit Music Ministry is intended for Communion but most of the choir now sung it during Offering. So pwede na siya NA LANG kantahon diri. Or ang “DAYGON IKAW GINOONG DIOS” on the same album.

I would suggest nga kantahon diri ang common na nga AMAHAN NAMO so that the Congregation can sing with you. Para sabay mong tanan manganta sa gitudlo nga pag-ampo sa tanan. Let the congregation participate.

Agnus Dei/Kordero:
Mmm… suggest lang ko. Pwede ba nga ang Kordero nga naandan sa katawhan ang kantahon? Like the Pastorella version. Ginaingon ko na kanina, let the congregation participates in singing this kind of songs. Okey man kanta ug bag-o, but make it sure nga ayaw biglaa ang mga tawo. Nindot nga naay pipila nga nakabalo na aron dali ra pod sa inyo nga part nga matudluan ang kadaghanan. Let the GOD hear his people singing to HIM.

Kalawat: 
For this, pwede kantahon ang “WAY SUKOD ANG PAGMAHAL” since sa dakong pagmahal sa Dios kanato iya gihugasan ang atong mga kasal-anan sa iyang balaanong dugo nga diin sibo kaayo Ikaduhang Pagbasa ug Ebanghelyo. Or pwede gihapon ang “KINI MAO AKONG LAWAS”.

Since buwan naman kita sa Mayo, pwede natong kantahon nga panapos nga awit ang bisan unsang Marian Song dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and at the same time tribute na lang pod nato sa atong mga inahan since MOTHERS DAY man usab. If you know Stella Maris nga Cebuano Version pwede kaayo niani.

But consider this: wouldn’t it be more in keeping with the liturgical calendar if instead of Mother’s Day, moms would be blessed on January 1, The Solemnity of Mary Mother of God, i.e., rather than the commercial celebration that is Mother’s Day (2nd Sunday of May)?
