Salvation is the fruit of God’s mercy and love for both Gentiles and Jews. God is compassionate to all.

Gospel: Matthew 15:21-28.

A Canaanite woman, a Gentile, a foreigner, tells Jesus that her daughter is bedemoned. The disciples were irritated with her, but she persisted. Jesus admires her faith, and her daughter was healed. 

Important Concept: the universality of salvation; God does not save only the Jews; He saves everyone.
